A Walk Through Riga, Latvia
When I travel, I walk.
I walk and I take pictures.
Many, many pictures and many, many steps.
Sometimes they’re the conventional tourist routes, but, often, I’m wandering whatever streets call me next. Sometimes they’re the typical tourist shots, but, often, I’m whatever catches my eye.
What I’m trying to say is that these pictures don’t encapsulate the essence of a city. They don’t make a statement about either politics or art. They are simply a record of my experience on a given day in a given place. Rather mundane, really. But, life is, after all, a collection of our experiences on a given day in a given place
In that very simple spirit, I offer a new series: Unhurried Walks. A given day, in a given place, as seen through the lens of my camera. Simple as that.
