Making, Lately
Lately, I have been Making and Unmaking.
It is an ebb and flow, this Making of mine.
It is a wrinkled pile of incomplete intentions.
It is taking apart.
It is putting back together.
It is pushing paint around on paper.
It is a pile of shirts rescued from the trash pile and the thrift stores.
It is the quilts that emerge from them.
It is mending.
It is thinking out loud on paper.
It is preserving.
It is recreating.
